A cast of twenty-two calypsonians vied for a place in the semi-final round of the competition. This event took place at the tent&#8217;s seasonal home base in the Eric Williams Auditorium, La Joya Complex, Eastern Main Road, St. Joseph. The show&#8217;s programme was hosted by Mr. Godfrey Pierre. Music was provided by the tent&#8217;s resident band, the Ruiz Brothers and the Karavan Gems back-up singers.
