The Miss Tourism TT and Manhunt was held at La Joya Auditorium on Saturday 18th August, 2007, as a group of eight ladies and five gentlemen vied for the three titles at stake: the Miss Tourism TT 2007, Ms. Tourism TT 2007 and Mr. Manhunt 2007. The pageant aimed to encourage the contestants to be able to convey information about Trinidad and Tobago. Charlene Modeste, one of the pageant organizers emphasized that winners of the competition should be able to showcase their culture and heritage on a national and international level.

The judges assessed the contestants as they showcased themselves in different segments including an introduction, casual wear, sportswear (men only), swimwear (ladies only), evening wear and a question and answer segment. The contestants for the pageant were: Josette Rodney, Anastacia Balfour, Yolandra John, Nadia Gebodh, Alicia Motie, Neisha Jeffers, Danielle Layne, Shevaugn Pollard, Akanath Singh, Joseph Lopez, Aneil Soner, Marcus Findlay and Imran Huggins. To rapturous applause from the audience, the contestants paraded colourful and stylish outfits reflecting various popular destinations and the diverse culture of Trinidad and Tobago.
In between the segments, several performances spiced up the evening. Fifteen year old pannist Demeka Guevera showed her skill on the pan with a rendition of "Can You Feel the Love Tonight". Talented songstress, Candice Roberts, treated the audience to renditions of two popular songs "Someone Love You Honey" and "For You I Will" and the Shakti Devi Dance Group also thrilled the audience with an East Indian dance.
When the results were announced, it was Yolandra John, who hails from Point Fortin who walked away with the Miss Tourism TT 2007 Title. She wore a stunning yellow gown in the evening wear category and sported an equally beautiful swimwear design titled "The Caribbean Jewel". The experienced Yolandra John has competed previously in several pageants and this showed as her poise and grace shone on the night.

In the Ms. Tourism TT category, which is open to contestants between the ages of 30-50, crowd favorite Shevaugn Pollard captured the title with a good all-round performance. Shevaugn gave a fantastic answer in the question and answer segment responding smoothly on the rich legacy of Trinidad and Tobago that manifests in food, Carnival, flora and fauna, historical sites and other places of interest. Nadia Gebodh who placed second also won Best Evening Wear for her beautiful blue dress titled "Blue Magic" as well as Best Hairstyle.
Twenty year old Aneil Soner from Arima captured the Mr. Manhunt 2007 title, ahead of the two other finalists Marcus Findlay and Imran Huggins. The competition was close, but the final segment, the question and answer segment, allowed him the edge and he gave a smooth response to the question posed as to what is his greatest temptation.
Making guest appearances at the pageant were Kershelle Hilaire, Miss Carnival Queen 2007, Paula Garcia, Miss PSA 2007 and Nicola Sammy Ifill, Ms. Elegance 2006. These queens assisted in presenting prizes to various winners of the competition, which was thoroughly enjoyed by the audience.
