The Rich Crew World of Cars Car Show and Sound Off took place on Sunday 26th August, 2007, at the National Stadium to thousands of car show aficionados and other curious spectators. This event was a very interesting one for those new to the event and very familiar territory to the die-hard fans who are actively involved in car customizing.

The theme of the event was East/West versus South/Central: a clash to determine which had greater sound and overall style.

The main organizers of the event were Peter 'Rich' Thomas and Ricardo 'Teddy' Lovelace who put on this show for the second time although they have been involved in showcasing their vehicles for the past four years. Currently, one of their maxi taxis is rated as the best maxi taxi in Trinidad and Tobago, and for that fact, they are proud.

Cars started rolling into the National Stadium's car park at around three in the afternoon and immediately took shelter under some tents. Unfortunately for some, there were not enough tents to house the many cars so some, including the larger vehicles such as the maxi taxis, had to endure the occasional rainfall in the early afternoon period.

Cars, maxi taxis, vans and motorcycles of all shapes, colours and sizes were on display showcasing the hard work and skill of the owners and other customizers who specially modified their vehicles in very dynamic and interesting ways. Although there were a few high end vehicles, many of the vehicles on display were "ordinary" cars with extraordinary accessories and alterations, which made them even more exciting and interesting to view.

Some of the interesting vehicles were: a maxi with a fish tank at the back interior; cars with fluorescent lights beneath the car, in the trunk, engine and rims; a muffler that spews fire; cars with Lambo door conversions; incredible air paint designs; and many other fancy car accessories.

Featured in the car show exhibition was work done by local car customizing companies: Car Craft, Chop Shop, Auto Track, MK Show Cars, Street Wise, Rich Crew, Fada Foul, Phoenix Customizing, Harry, MadMax Stunts, Gangster Stunt Riders and Antique Cars.

Other crowd favorites was the Burnout from Richie Rich / Rug Doctor, Dirty Donut Harry and Tobago Renegade, as well as the car sound-off.

To hype the sound-off and car show exhibition and competition were DJ's Kevin Baker and Robin and Jamoon and Magie who were on hand to deliver.

In the sound-off competition, car owners had thirty seconds to test their audio power. Car enthusiasts gathered by the hundreds to identify and judge the loudest sounding vehicles and were quite vocal in their judging. Professional judges were on hand to judge other competitions including: Loudest Single 12 inch speaker, Best Overall 4 Cars, Loudest 2 Twelve inch speakers, Best Air Brush, Best Two Tone, Best Music Installation, Best Single 15 inch speaker, Best Visual display, Best Rims, Best 15 inch Double speaker, Most Original, Loudest Vehicle and Best Rich Vehicle. Triniview.com was unable to get the names of the winners of the individual events but it is certain that all participants felt proud displaying their works of art.

The car exhibition and competition ended with a display of vehicles sold by 'Rich' and a motorcycle burn-out display by veteran vehicle airbrusher and stuntman, MadMax.

After the show, the Rich Crew, identified by their blue jerseys, had assembled to be photographed by Triniview.com and to be remembered for their role in the second installment of this riveting and exciting car show.
