Destruction of North Post Hill, Diego Martin

The residents, fishermen and nature-lovers of North Post Village, Diego Martin have come together to demand that the destruction and deforestation of approximately 100 acres on the hillside of North Post, by a private developer be immediately stopped. Since his occupation of this portion of state land (just off lamp-post #60) within the last year, he has used tractors to grade away entire chunks of the north coast hillside, turning a once pristine natural environment into an eyesore and environmental hazard.

They assert that this ill conceived and illegal grand development scheme has NOT gotten the approval of any regulatory body such as the EMA, Diego Martin Regional Corporation or the Town and Country Planning Division. His actions which include grading away about 100 feet of hillside have irreversibly damaged the environment, and will cause landslides and water to gush down the hillside.
