The Launch of The Roots of Jazz

Pelham Goddard, music stalwart and leader of “Pelham Goddard and Roots” recently formed a five piece Jazz ensemble which comprise of Vonrick Maynard the drummer, Oslyn Pompie the bass player, Devon Ocho the guitarist, Pelham Goddard on piano and Malcolm Boyce on the saxophone. The band also include vocalists Moricia Cagan and Nigel O'Connor. On Sunday 31st May, 2015, Goddard hosted the launch of “The Roots of Jazz” at Issa’s Restaurant and Lounge, upper Henry Street, Port-of-Spain. Also included in the line up of performers were guest artistes Natalie York and Jason 'Fridge' Seecharan.
