Jacqueline

What a shame that the ugly siloulette of the towers mar what is otherwise a good view of POS. Another blot on the lanscape is the dishevelled uncared for buildings of the Queen's Park, in the lower right of photo, directly in front of another historical piece of beautiful architecture, Knowseley - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs! Maybe making good impressions to visitors is not on the agenda.

Jacqueline if u got nothing good to say about Trinidad keep your mouth shut! Trinidad is still the wealthiest island in the Caribbean, and other islands still look up to us because of the tremendous progress we have made over the years. People like u help to hold our country and people back!

Can someone post a photo of POS from 25 Hololo Mountain Rd? The skyline has changed dramatically since 1969 when I lived at that address. Except for the towers, POS still looks the same, lovely as ever!!! Yeah-man!

I was recently in Trinidad and I was shocked and amazed to see the progress that has occurred in Port of Spain. The skyline is now much different as it now includes the Nicholas Towers. A very beautiful and ergonomic glass building which in reference to the photo, sits just left of the Towers.

Trinidad has much to offer the rest of the Caribbean as well as the world. I just hope we are not in turn made victims of Foreign Corporations, i.e., Coca-Cola, Nike, who set up industry in other countries.

Mesira

They pollute our environment and set an unstable economy for the host country, while reaping Hundreds of Millions in profits. Trinidad needs to hold its' own, encourage business and foreign investors, while maintaining control of our OWN country and economy.

Keep as much money made in Trinidad, in Trinidad. And hopefully with better governmental management we will see a prosperous future for my home.

Have to agree this particular photo does not really do justice to the real aesthetic beauty of Trinidad. What about our lovely old creole heritage and buildings?

Perhaps a different photo from another view of down town POS giving more creative and angular views of our modern developments, with a bit more edge and pizzaz. More 'WOW'!

I DON'T CARE ABOUT WHAT OTHERS HAVE TO SAY NEGATIVELY ABOUT THE LANDSCAPE. I AM JUST HAPPY AND PROUD TO SEE ANY PHOTO I CAN OF MY HOME COUNTRY. YOU GO TRINI!!! KEEP BRINGING ON THE PHOTOS UNTIL I CAN LEAVE NEW YORK AND DRINK IN THE BEAUTY OF YOU PHYSICALLY FOR MYSELF.

I think that people who don't have anything positive to say should keep their mouths shut.
The landscape is beautiful.

I love Trinidad too. Everyone is free and entitled to have an opinion. It's just a feeling about a particular photo, not Gospel truth or meant to undermine our beloved and beautiful homeland on the whole.
Well wishes.

It is simply pathetic that negative comments are made about Trinidad........lots of things are by no means perfect in those so called developed nations.

This shot is dare to me, for I grew up on Dundonald Street, and I could see the Grand Stand from there, as I do see it in this shot. It is great to see that despite the grow in the country, that there is still the underlined beauty of TnT.
Blessing to all.
