New sea wall? Why build it now? Maybe the sea level was not encroaching into the land, even close to the road? People don't be stupid! Where the water is now, is where high tide used to be. Now it is up to that wall.

Along with what is in the forum about what causes this; please don't be ignorant and ignore the fact that there are more than 5 offshore oil drilling platforms!

Point Radix used to be ah brilliant green - from lush vegetation. Now it's just bright orange from the ultra rich soil being exposed as almost the entire cliff/point has fallen into the sea from erosion.

This was where the bath-tub derby (floatable, man-made watercraft, with pedals, etc) used to be. People used to build tents, and camp for the whole weekend, for the event - beach party, rum, wine, food, BBQ, fish fest, and of course - pure sex.

This hould be padu (padhu, paddu). Inside is a sweet, cotton like seed of which you can suck off, or eat the white cotton. Like cotton candy, and tastes kinda like sour-sop (guanabana).

Pure coconut trees running around the rim of the beach, for miles, and miles.
Much more than that inland. Even more down Cedros, Icacos, etc. Coconut is a high sought-after product, yet they shut down the CGA.
