i remember this house the mills' owned this house. i believe they sold stamps from this house. i went ot scholl with one of the daughters. i think her name is theresa mills

grew up in maracas valley and went to school at st. joseph's girls rc.school then on to mills private school. brings back so many memories.

Sorry, but this was "Miss Gomez' " House. She was "The Registrar of Births and Deaths". She was related to the Grandsauls, who occupied two houses: one on the opposite corner and one at the bottom of the hill where it met King Street.

Depends on how long ago she was there. That view used to be of a clear river meandering through small vegetable gardens and banks with luxuriant natural vegetation and patches of grass. Not one of those buildings was there.

Is there still that road sign, it should be at the bottom left of the picture just north of the sidewalk, it said..BEAR LEFT ? As a young fellow I remember Looking in vain, I never saw the bear.
