Heritage Radio Bhandari Festival 2014 - June 20, 2014

On Friday 20th June 2014, from 11:00am to 10:00pm, Heritage Radio 101.7FM hosted the first ever Bhandari Festival in Trinidad at Divali Nagar Site, Endeavour Road, Chaguanas. The festival included a bicycle and motobike parade from Mid-Centre Mall , through the streets of chaguanas, the re-enactment of a traditional Hindu wedding where the dulaha (groom) was greeted with tassa on entering the compound on a horse and entertainment by T&TEC Gayatones and Heritage Radio singers. One of the main highlights of the day was the food court with a variety of Indian traditional Indian dishes on full display.
