Rod Dallas, Id agree with you some years back but I told my wife who recently went for a short trip to trini to bring me back kiss cake. Unfortunately I couldnt even finish it...too sweet boy...Im afraid its just another cup cake with a icing centre...the memory is the legacy

Picture of Bravo Hill

| show fullshow summary

I've being going through your pictures of Sangre Grande, always looking for pictures of Bravo Hill where i grew up. Then today 03-04-07 i came across this picture of (on the way to Manzanilla). The thing is i never really went back to Trinidad since leaving 19 years ago and when i did go back 2 years ago i never got a chance to go to Grande, so when i actually saw the picture and i started recognizing my primary school, my house on Bravo Hill and the houses in my neighbourhood, boy my heart almost jump meh chest and meh blood pressure almost went scandalous again. It's really nice when alyuh do stuff like this, because it does really make people like myself see what a beautiful country we come from and how stupid people myself are, when we neglect returning home to the most beautiful place in the world(crying out loud). I mean just looking at this picture, i could describe to people, 90% of my childhood. i can't wait to come back home and visit. Again, thanks for all the beautiful photos and i hope...

Re Fruits and cellphone

Linda sounds like a total idiot. So what so big about a fruit vendor having a cellphone? And what's that assinine quip about having 911 on speed dial (it's 999 in T&T) in case you forgot. The guy who made the comment that they may be just comes earning minimum wages seems to fit. I detest that superior attitude from emigres who feel they're better that resident trinis. And by the way, I live abroad also and am just as nostalgic for Mayaro.

Lennard-Canada

This is the original first and last, owned by Mrs Harvey, there was always an open air comedy show there with a long line of drunkards passing through, such as kool Cato, Reuben, Batchie,Bogart, Wesley, Kellick Grant and Reds to name a few.

Lennard-Canada

Happy to see the condition of the court,it was first built as a netball court.I introduced basketball ,along with cousins and friends, and built the first set of backboards. Progress can only be made through perseverance.

Yes Lennard is my brother and the Stowes are my cousins. I know the original First & Last where the men use to go to drink their rum.
