As far as I am concerned, the city of Port of Spain is outdoing itself in creating beatiful surroundings for residents and visitors, alike.

Man, I cannot wait to hit Trini, head for Independence Square and just hang loose on one of those Promenade benches and take in the scenes of the city.

The angle from which this photo was taken reminds me of Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn. Could that be the effect the designer might have been trying to achieve?

My sister-in-law who is presently visiting from Trini says that they plan on turning the site into a parking lot, since parking space is nearly non-existent in the city.
