hlatchman has conveyed my thoughts exactly on this Pulitzer-worthy photo by Christine, an Edifice of the Past and an Ultra-modern Citadel of the Future together in one palce. Absolutely Astounding!

I can still feel the knots in my stomach.....as a Nelson St RC pupil, this is where I wrote "the exhibition" exam. What's become of the two big anchors that was on the front lawn?

This is the building in which, as a CIC sixth-former, I matured.. researching the Italian/Ethiopian wars, the British colonial policies in East Africa. Reading the air-mail edition of the London Times & the BBC Listener magazine Oh halcyon days!

View from the north-west of the savannah (possibly taken from Chancellor Hill). Carnival season as the North Stand is up and picture taken within the last year - Nicholas Towers in left background appears completed.

What a super sight! Fantastic modern architecture blended together with the old colonial building. Trini power at its best.

Being an ex-QRC graduate (class of '84), I sure do remember walking along that side walk. Everything is so green and alive, compared to the cold and snow. Sweet old T&T, thank you for the momories...
